I went with a group of 6 and we ordered a lot of food!!  We were not disappointed!!  If you like Cate zone, Chef Ma's and Szechuan café, you will like Perfect Taste. Each of these restaurants have something special that is better than the other, but all are good!

The portions are very large and are meant to be shared. We had lots of leftovers and we ate well. The sweet and sour lotus root, spicy pig ear with cucumber, peppered fish soup, scallion pancakes, Mala hot pot, and the Kung pao chicken were the standouts.  The eggplant was delicious, but the sizzling eggplant at Cate zone is better.  The peppered fish soup is delicious at Perfect Taste, but it is equally delicious at Szechuan Cafe.  The Kung pao chicken at Perfect Taste is some of the best I've had anywhere!!

Perfect taste is located near the Tivoli and is on a very busy part of the Delmar loop.  We all lucked out with parking. I hope you do too! Recommend!

Authentic Chinese food, close to how my mother makes it. Prices are reasonable and servings are big enough to share with table.

A lot of the dishes on here are very close to what Harbin people eat which made me really happy. Anytime I go I've never been dissatisfied, highly recommend going.

I liked everything I ordered and expected it to taste the way it did. If you're not an adventurous eater or newer to Chinese food I recommend just trying the chuan bei spicy fried fish, it's delicious.

I've been there several times. The general impression is neutral. But for this time, food was ok. One dish we ordered was super salty such that I can even taste salt from it. The service was rude, at least more rude than other restaurants. They were not very kind and seemed that they did not want me to come. Probably will not go there within a short period of time.....

At Perfect Taste I had the BEST SCALLION PANCAKE OF MY LIFE!! Seriously, this is the way they should taste! Crispy outside, chewy, doughy inside.  We also had the egg roles which were house made and delicious, the orange chicken (I didn't eat it but my BF said it was nice, not too orangey), and General Tso's tofu- which was awesome! The menu also featured a lot of adventurous options that I didn't try cause they pretty much all had meat, but looked very interesting!

3.5 stars. This place is an off-brand cate zone, but it has a stellar location on the loop. Good menu, and they execute decently well. I've had a number of dishes, and while they all nail some aspects, there's usually something left to be desired. That said, having a Szechuan restaurant close by is quite nice!
